Pumpkin Pie Blizzard

A few years ago, my friend Kristi and I had a Dairy Queen tradition. Every time her parents would come visit us at school, we'd all meet up at Dairy Queen. Whenever we needed to get away and get off campus, we'd head to Dairy Queen. I recall one particularly wonderful indulgunce we discovered in those days: The Pumpkin Pie Blizzard. Talk about heaven. I remember writing a poem about it after eating it - it was THAT GOOD! Of course, I can't find the poem now.. and trying to re-write it won't capture the essence and passion the first one bestowed.

And just to rain on my Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Parade, I happened to just come across the nutrition information for this lovely Blizzard of the month. Gracious.

560 calories in a SMALL!!?! How about 1050 calories in a LARGE!!??
